To calm the fluctuations of our minds through breath, movement, and connection.

Why I Teach

I am a RYT-200 Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher through The Sacred Fig. I am also currently working towards my certification in Katonah Yoga.

I choose to teach because I absolutely love being able to help people reconnect with themselves. It’s the coolest thing in the world to me when someone can get back to their natural state of being. My practice has been an incredible tool for me in my own life for this reason, as well as a way to gain insight, understanding, and stay curious.

I’m so grateful I get to share my learnings with others and facilitate experiences of union not only for themselves but as a community. Sometimes joy feels harder to access, and this is a practice that helps us cultivate it. Through technique, we can calm the fluctuations of our minds, and remembering who we really are. Through yoga, we are able to gain perspective amidst the ups and down in life, ultimately making for a more joyful experience.

what to expect

My classes are flowing, fun, and functional. My teaching style is non-lineage based, though it does incorporate quite a bit of Vinyasa breath to movement and Katonah techniques. I weave metaphor, pranayama, and meditation together to create a joyful practice that moves the body and the mind.
